Description:

This project consisted of the construction of an earthen cofferdam for the future new hydroelectric power house structure.  Work included approximately 1.5 million cubic yards of excavation, design and installation of a 65 well dewatering system with well depths up to 150′ deep, 607,000 square feet of soil-cement-bentonite slurry wall with depths up to 180′, an automated instrumentation system, stone columns, a drilling and grouting program, and a sheet pile cut-off wall.
