Description:

The project consisted of the construction and equipping of a new effluent system at the Southerly Waste Water Treatment Plant.  Included in the work were (4) reinforced concrete structures including a pumping station, metering chamber, transition chamber, and dissipation structure all with associated pre-cast and cast-in-place reinforced concrete conduits.  The dissipation structure required a permanent contractor designed cofferdam, excavation and grouted dump rock.  In total approximately 250,000 square feet of forms, 4,000,000 pounds of reinforcing steel and 20,000 cubic yards of concrete were placed as part of this project.
